Stefanie Shurmer,

Stefanie grew up in Cranbrook, British Columbia. She began playing piano at the age of 7, and was actively involved in her high school concert band and vocal jazz choir. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta with first class honours, and holds a Bachelor of Music (majoring in voice), and a Bachelor of Education. She has also completed the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 10 in piano. This is Stefanie's 3rd year living in Montreal, and she is currently teaching senior school band and choir in Westmount, QC. Stefanie also continues to be an active performer. She is currently a member of the Lyric Singers of Montreal. She enjoys participating in musical theater, both on stage and in the orchestra, and has participated in a variety of productions, including "Grease", "A Christmas Carol", "The Fantastiks", and "Fiddler on the Roof"..
