QBA founding executive member grew up in Wales (U.K.) where she obtained various musical experiences education leading to a Masters degree in performance on the clarinet.  She has lived in Laval for 12 years, gained a Bachelor’s degree in music teaching from UQAM and now teaches band at Laval Liberty High School.  Elaine plays clarinet in the Ensemble Sinfonia de Montreal and is currently working with the sub-committee to prepare for the annual QBA Honour Band.
