Valérie
grew up in Ste.-Croix, southwest of Québec City. After obtaining a CGEP diploma in music, she moved
to Montréal to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Music as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from McGill
University. She is now a teacher and band director at Beaconsfield High School.
Valérie
is also a founding executive member of the Quebec Band Association. Valérie is a recipient of the QMEA Teacher of the
Year award.
