Kate
hails from Hemmingford, Québec and has been teaching for 15 years in the secondary and primary school systems in the
Montreal area, where she finds time to do the occasional gig on the weekends (Salsa being her favourite). In
1993 she left McGill University where she had obtained her Bachelors of Music in Jazz Performance on trumpet, and the Diploma
in Education.
Kate is also a founding executive member of the Quebec Band Association.
