​The Quebec Band Association is a non-profit organization devoted to the development of concert band programs in Quebec and connecting members of the band community within our province. 

Our mission is to support teachers, and aspiring teachers by promoting a variety of opportunities for professional development throughout the year.

Our History

Officially registered in 2004, we have enjoyed over 10 years of exciting and meaningful musical experiences for both teachers and students.  The founding members of the Quebec Band Association (QBA) met initially at Quebec Provincial Association of Teachers (QPAT) in 2001. The group was spearheaded by Teresa Lescaudron, Renée Raymond and Lynne Tucker.  They enthusiastically guided a group of band teachers toward what we have become today, a vibrant and significant voice on the educational horizon in Quebec. 

The founding members of the QBA were:
Ross Brownlee, MC Campbell, Jason Ferris, Valerie Lepage, Elizabeth Lefebvre, Teresa Lescaudron, Kate Miller, Renée Raymond, Joan Riley, Elaine Thomas and Lynne Tucker.
