National Youth Band
The National Youth Band of Canada is the flagship project of the QBA's parent affiliate, the Canadian Band Association. The ensemble is made up of students aged 16 to 22, from all across Canada. Every year, the band travels to a different Canadian province for one week of intense rehearsals and performances. This year, NYB will be held in Halifax from April 21-27, 2024 with conductor Brent Ghiglione.
The QBA would like to help send a student from Quebec to NYB! If you know of a student who would love to participate in NYB but may need financial assistance, please encourage them to complete the NYB scholarship application below. Deadline to apply for the 2024 scholarship is February 15, 2024.
