Enriched Educational Opportunities (EEOs) at McGill
McGill’s Enriched Educational Opportunities (EEOs) program provides funding for full-time undergraduate students to participate in meaningful extracurricular activities that enhance their academic and professional development. Students can apply for support to attend events such as workshops, conferences, and specialized training — for example, the Quebec Band Association’s Annual Conference. To learn more about eligibility, application guidelines, and important dates (including the November 15–December 15 window for opportunities happening between January and April), visit: mcgill.ca/music/students/competitions-awards/undergraduate-eeo.
EMSB: Refer to Page 6 of the PIC EMSB guide for "Out-of-Town Conferences Funding Rules" at the following link:

LBPSB: Your school will have a PIC committee that approves professional development applications. The forms can be requested from the PIC chair or found on SSO under the Professional Development tab. The central PIC committee only meets once/month, so be sure to get your application in quickly! Questions can be directed to Lily Sacco at the board (422-3000 ext.32618 or by email at [email protected])
RSB: Fill in the “In-Service-Activity Request” form, remit to your principal for their signature and fill out the followup documents that HR will send to you. For any further questions, contact [email protected]
SWLSB: To apply for PIC in Sir Wilfred Laurier SB, submit via this link: SWLSB Teacher PIC Application Form. General information for SWLSB PIC can be found here: SWLSB Teacher PIC Information
Private: The process depends on the school but usually there are funds for this! See your Division Director / Principal and ask for permission. Usually, all requests are accommodated. Even if it is your first year teaching, you are eligible for funds for this, so don’t be afraid to ask.
